You don’t really plan a day around Zeitgeist.

Zeitgeist is what happens after somebody says,

“We should grab a beer.”

The patio has become one of those San Francisco places everybody ends up at eventually. Cyclists, artists, neighborhood regulars, dogs, cats, that person you always see at the gym no matter what time you go, and of course people who definitely should’ve gone home an hour ago…it’s magical.

Get a beer. They only have 64 of them on tap.

Find a picnic table.

The rest usually takes care of itself.

Sure, it smells a little like cigarettes. That’s defiance, that’s transgression, that’s the Mission baby.

But it definitely is also a bunch of people smoking cigarettes.

Some bars are where you catch up with your friends.

Zeitgeist is where you accidentally make new ones.
