Comstock Saloon

Walking into Comstock is like walking back in time. Or maybe you just walked into a museum with great cocktails and food.

Nope, that is definitely Comstock Saloon.

This place is indeed historic. It first opened in 1906 as the Andromeda Saloon right after the Great Earthquake and fire.

That’s pretty cool. Once the fires were done, they were like, “we need a Good Bar immediately”.

Mission accomplished

This is a great place for happy hours with friends and coworkers, but don’t show up with 20 people expecting to find a seat. It’s better suited for 2-5 people.

There’s live music upstairs in an indoor balcony.

And throughout the bar there are historic art pieces hanging from the walls, honoring the history of SF. Look around, enjoy it, grab some cocktails, and have a good conversation with your pals.

Certified Good Bar.
