The Interval
If you are looking for a prime date spot with a good mix of unique fancy vibes and local energy, I would highly recommend The Interval at Long Now.
Tucked away in Fort Mason, this little bar/cafe/museum has great cocktails. They have honestly too many, the book (menu) is overwhelming. Luckily the bartenders are used to (maybe tired of?) questions. All of them can help guide you through the menu and whip up something scrumptious.
A good first date spot, you can have a conversation, look at all the funky things on the walls, and the orbs on the ceiling.
Oh yeah! The orbs! You can give a $2500 tax-deductible donation for a bottle keep with any liquor of your choice. They are stored in orbs as part of a floating display on the ceiling which adds to the aesthetic. The donation supports the Long Now’s Foundation.
Don’t forget to swing by and read or do some work during the day, they got some pastries and some java as well.
Unique little slice of the city.
